Refund Policies

Refunds resulting from a financial aid credit balance on student accounts will not be available until after classes have started and financial aid has been disbursed to student accounts.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with federal regulations for all Federal Title IV credit balances and in accordance with college policy for all other credit balances.

To receive a refund check: 

  • The account must show a credit balance.
  • Financial aid hours and semester hours must match.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of a credit balance occurring on an account. The refund will be mailed to you unless you have your direct deposit bank account set up in Self Service. Please see below for instructions.

If your refund is the result of a Parent PLUS loan, the refund will be mailed directly to the parent on file.

Direct Deposit for Refunds

To add your refund direct deposit bank account:

  1. Log in to Self Service
  2. Click on Banking Information
  3. Click Add an Account
  4. Slide the Activate toggle to allow entry of a new account and click Next
  5. Add your banking information
  6. Click Submit
