“I wanted to come to Alverno because the staff and professors are very involved in making sure you succeed. Alverno offered me a scholarship for my grades at my previous school. I felt that my hard work had paid off, and that Alverno noticed and rewarded me. With that, I knew I had the support I was looking for in a school.”

- Hailey, transfer student, nursing major, class of 2020

“In classes with men, I was less likely to raise my hand or contribute to classroom discussions. When I came to Alverno, I gained the confidence to speak up.”

- Amber, transfer student, global studies and international affairs major, class of 2018
