Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) Course Credit Transfer Agreement (CCTA) with Wisconsin's Technical Colleges (WTCS): To assist Wisconsin Technical College students in furthering their academic and career goals, Alverno College participates in a course-to-course agreement with Wisconsin's 16 Technical Colleges. The WAICU-WTCS Course Credit Transfer Agreement is designed to ensure a smooth transfer process for WTCS students who wish to pursue a degree at Alverno. The fourteen courses in the agreement will satisfy general education or general degree requirements when applicable. Students are responsible for confirming that these courses transfer to their intended major by working with their academic advisor.

“I wanted to come to Alverno because the staff and professors are very involved in making sure you succeed. Alverno offered me a scholarship for my grades at my previous school. I felt that my hard work had paid off, and that Alverno noticed and rewarded me. With that, I knew I had the support I was looking for in a school.”

- Hailey, nursing major, class of 2020

“In classes with men, I was less likely to raise my hand or contribute to classroom discussions. When I came to Alverno, I gained the confidence to speak up.”
