Alverno is located on a 46-acre campus in the Jackson Park neighborhood of Milwaukee, just 15 minutes from downtown and the beautiful lakefront. Centrally located, Alverno offers convenient access to freeways and General Mitchell International Airport.

Directions to Alverno — Updated for 2025 Construction

From Chicago/Airport:

Take I-94W (heading north), toward Milwaukee. Take the Howard/Holt Avenue exit (314). Head west (left) on Holt, which becomes Morgan Avenue. Continue west to the campus entrance just east of 43rd Street (2.5 miles). Turn right onto the campus road and continue to the parking structure. The Read Center will be on the right.

From Madison:

Take I-94E, toward Milwaukee. Take the Brewers Blvd exit (308B) and head south. Brewers Blvd becomes 43rd Street. Continue on 43rd to Morgan Avenue, and turn left onto Morgan. Take the first campus entrance on the left and continue to the parking structure. The Read Center will be on the right.

From Green Bay:

Take I-43S, past downtown Milwaukee. Proceed on I-43/I-94 toward Chicago. Take the Howard/Holt Avenue exit (314). Head west (right) on Holt, which becomes Morgan Avenue. Continue west to the campus entrance just east of 43rd Street (2.5 miles). Turn right onto the campus road and continue to the parking structure. The Read Center will be on the right.
