Alverno’s membership in the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) allows qualified Alverno students, faculty and staff to receive significant discounts on software, hardware and computer accessories. Purchase requirements. You must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program (i.e. Associate, Bachelors, Masters, etc.) or be a faculty/staff member in order to qualify to purchase academically priced versions of software or technology products. In addition to requirements by JourneyEd, some vendors have additional requirements.
You will need to provide proof of your academic status to be eligible for the discount. Acceptable forms of academic proof include a dated current class schedule from IOL or an Alverno ID. Once you complete your order and obtain your order number, send it along with your academic proof via fax, email or mail. After your documentation has been verified, you will receive an email informing you that your verification has been accepted and your order has been released for processing.
Your verification will be on file for one year from the submission date. Proof of academic standing will not be required until one year from the original submission date.
