Alverno College Nursing Students Host Health Fair For Underserved Communities
Alverno nursing students were out in the Milwaukee community hosting a health fair in the Sherman Park neighborhood. They covered a number of public health topics including nutrition, physical activity, family planning and lead poisoning, building trust between the community and healthcare providers. Spectrum News ran a story and interviewed a couple of our students.
