Vanessa is a proud Milwaukee native and an Alverno College graduate. As an admissions counselor, she works with high school students throughout Milwaukee and northeastern Wisconsin, as well as student-athletes interested in joining Alverno’s programs.

She enjoys exploring Milwaukee’s art scene, independent bookstores and the amazing mix of restaurants and coffee shops around Bay View and the Third Ward. She loves finding new places that showcase the creativity and community that make this city so special. In her free time, she enjoys reading, sculpting and experimenting with different art mediums.

Vanessa chose to work at Alverno because it’s where she discovered her own strengths and confidence as a student, and enjoys helping others do the same. Working in admissions allows her to connect with students during one of the most exciting times in their lives and support them as they take the next step in their journey.
