Sisters Become Friends for Alverno Students
Last fall Allverno launched a new program called Sister Friends which pairs a student up with one of the School Sisters of St. Francis. The pairs have created strong bonds, benefiting from intergenerational learning and mutual support. The Catholic Herald recently featured one of these pairs, Sister Barbaralie Stiefermann and Grace Parlier, a music therapy major.
