Alverno students gather clothes for the homeless
Moved to take action after finding the body of a homeless man near Milwaukee's lakefront, students organized a “Stuff the Bus” event to benefit local homeless shelters. The collection resulted in over $14,000 worth of clothing, blankets, non-perishable food and hygiene items, and $1,500 in cash. The event was featured in one of Radio Milwaukee's Community Stories.
