Alverno is offering a new program to train social workers through an abolitionist perspective
Alverno's new Master of Social Work program, launching in the fall, will take a unique approach - imagining a world beyond prison, police and surveillance. Program Director Cameron Overton recently appeared on WUWM's Lake Effect to talk about the new master's degree program along with Celestina Hertz, a current undergraduate student.
