Alverno College students and staff clean up South Shore Beach
Hundreds of Alverno College students, faculty and staff took part in Community Day, volunteering at nearly two dozen sites throughout Milwaukee. Forty or so volunteers braved the rain at Milwaukee's South Shore Beach to pick up trash.
