Alverno College's Girls' Academy Fights Zoom Fatigue With Science Kits
Like many things in 2020, the Alverno College Girls’ Academy of Science & Mathematics has had to alter the way they do things thanks to COVID-19. For the past nine years, high school girls from all over the Milwaukee area have come to the Alverno campus on Fridays after school for hands-on experience with high-level science. Obviously, the pandemic has made that impossible, so how are they making it work this year? Radio Milwaukee talked to a couple of people who came up with a creative way to put science in the hands of local high school girls.
