Alverno College Appoints Vice President for Enrollment Services

Kate Lundeen has been appointed Vice President for Enrollment Services at Alverno College. In this role, she will direct all aspects of the College's Admissions Department, including recruitment for undergraduate and graduate programs, Admissions communications and strategic long-range planning, as well as oversee the Financial Aid department.

Lundeen joined Alverno College in November 2011 as the Director for Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions. She was appointed Executive Director of Enrollment in October 2012. Prior to coming to Alverno, she was the Executive Director of College Possible Milwaukee (formerly Admission Possible of Greater Milwaukee), where she was responsible for leading strategic organizational development, raising funds, coordinating communications, building relationships with partner organizations and overseeing day-to-day management and operational issues. She also led and managed the launch of their Milwaukee office, the first branch opened in the program's national expansion.

In 2011, Lundeen was named a “40 Under 40” winner, recognized by the Business Journal of Milwaukee. Each year, the publication names 40 future community leaders of southeastern Wisconsin under the age of 40. She was a founding board member and serves as Chair-Elect of Milwaukee Promise, Inc., an organization designed to provide college scholarship support for urban Milwaukee students. In addition, Lundeen was chosen as one of just 35 participants in the competitive Future Milwaukee program in 2009-10, and she served on the Milwaukee Mentoring Committee for the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee.

Lundeen earned a Master's degree in Public Policy with a concentration in economic and community development from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.
