Admitted Students

Join us for Admitted Student Day on Friday, Feb. 22!

Register Spend a day with us and get to know your Alverno family!

Congratulations! We are excited to welcome you to the Alverno Community!

Now that you've been admitted to Alverno, there are a few more steps to complete before you start classes. Use this page and the Next Steps booklet you received in your acceptance packet to help guide you. As always, if you have any questions, contact your admissions counselor or contact the Admissions Office at 414-382-6100 or admissions@alverno.edu

Deposit Secure your acceptance by paying your $100 enrollment deposit, which goes toward your tuition.

File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you haven't done so already, file the FAFSA. We recommend that all students complete the application regardless of whether or not you intend to take out loans. The information you provide determines your federal aid eligibility, and it also helps us to determine your eligibility for aid from Alverno. The Alverno aid is need-based and is seperate from the merit-based scholarships.

Log in to your Alverno Campus Network Account. Your username and temporary password was attached to the Next Steps booklet with your acceptance packet. Visit alverno.edu/passwordreset to enroll into the system and to reset your password. This username and password gives you access to your email, our housing application system and other campus resources.

Access your Alverno Email. Your email account is through Office 365. Visit student.alverno.edu and enter your Alverno email address, which was included in your Next Steps booklet with your acceptance packet. You will begin receiving important information to this email.

Learn more about our bypass exams. Save money and time by successfully completing assessments that allow you to bypass some introductory courses. Our Assessment and Outreach Center is your go-to spot for all of our bypass assessments.

Apply for housing. We encourage our first-year students to live on campus. Visit alverno.edu/reslife for more information. The housing application for Fall '19 will be available mid-January.

Schedule to meet with a financial aid counselor. Incoming students are required to meet with a representative from our Financial Aid office. We want to make sure that you and your family understand your financial aid package and your financial responsibilites. Schedule a time that works best for you and at least one parent or guardian by calling 414-382-6262.

Prepare for Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR). Once you pay your enrollment deposit, you will be notified of your SOAR date. This is a required event for all incoming students. During this time, you will register for your first semester classes.

Submit your final transcripts. An official, final transcript that includes your high school graduation date must be submitted to the Admissions office in a sealed envelope from your high school or sent through an electric provider.

Accept your federal loans. If you are taking out federal loans, you need to accept, decrease or decline your loans at studentloans.gov. You also should complete the Master Promissory Note and the Entrance Counseling.

Sign your Educational Loan Agreement. Alverno requires all students to sign an Educational Loan Agreement (ELA) to acknowledge their financial obligations before the semester begins. If you have questions, contact Student Accounts at business.office@alverno.edu or 414-382-6262.
