Auditing Classes

You may audit a course for no credit. Regular attendance at classes is expected, but auditors are not required to complete written course assignments or take the final assessments for the course. Tuition is a 50% discount per credit for auditing a course. Prerequisites and some restrictions apply, and instructor/department permission is required. In some instances, an Alverno placement assessment may be required to confirm readiness to be successful in an Alverno course. For specific information and registration procedures, contact the Registrar’s Office; they will assist you in the registration process. You may contact them in person or at registrar@alverno.edu. The deadline to register for an audit class is the Official Enrollment date each fall and spring term and by May 30^th for the summer term. Alverno Degree Completion courses are not eligible to audit.
