Luci Staudacher is faculty advisor to the Alverno College Association of Social Work and created the Moving Forward Professional and Academic Recognition Society, an Alverno social work honors program. Staudacher has 30+ years of experience in the social work profession, most recently serving as the director of clinical services and therapist at Pathfinders Milwaukee Inc. She has developed extensive expertise in trauma-informed care has won the Unsung Hero Award in 2012 for her clinical work with Latino survivors of sexual violence. In 2015, she received the Voices of Courage Award from the Wisconsin Coalition on Sexual Assault for her work in child sexual violence prevention.

Crystal Aschenbrener is an associate professor at Alverno. She is a licensed social worker with 14+ years of college teaching experience. She has 15+ years of field experience, working with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities through her roles as a school social worker, hospital social worker, case worker supervisor and executive director of a Habitat for Humanity affiliate. She is the creator, program coordinator, and principal investigator of the Today & Beyond Program, a mentoring intervention program that introduces college students to tribal culture, traditions, and strengths as well as the historical trauma and social problems challenging Native American youth.

Cameron Overton is an assistant professor in the social work department at Alverno College. Cameron serves as the field coordinator for the BSW program, and was a key partner in developing a substance abuse counseling program in the social work department at Alverno College. Prior to coming to Alverno, Cameron worked as a Drug Treatment Court Coordinator for Milwaukee County, and has experience as a Recovery Support Coordinator and Family Case Manager.
