BIOGRAPHY
Kate Lundeen is the vice president for Enrollment Services at Alverno College, where she has worked since 2011. Her job entails overseeing all areas of college enrollment management including recruitment for undergraduate, graduate programs and adult programs, student registration, professional advising retention, scholarships and financial aid.
Prior to coming to Alverno Lundeen was the executive director of College Possible Milwaukee, an organization dedicated to making college admission and success possible for low-income students. In 2011 she was named a “40 Under 40” winner, recognized by the Business Journal of Milwaukee. She was a founding board member of Milwaukee Promise, Inc., an organization designed to provide college scholarship support for urban Milwaukee students. In addition, Lundeen was chosen as one of just 35 participants in the competitive Future Milwaukee program in 2009-10, and she served on the Milwaukee Mentoring Committee for the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee.
Lundeen earned a Master’s degree in Public Policy with a concentration in economic and community development from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and a bachelor’s degree with honors in International Relations and Political Economics from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota.
