Stephanie Maney-Hartlaub is the Executive Director of City Year Milwaukee, an organization dedicated to preparing students with the social, emotional, and academic skills and mindsets needed to succeed in school and in life. A lifelong Milwaukee resident, Stephanie is a proud graduate of Milwaukee Public Schools’ Riverside University High School. Prior to joining City Year Milwaukee, she served as Senior Director of Talent Strategy and Development for City Forward Collective, where she led initiatives to strengthen leadership pipelines and organizational effectiveness. Earlier in her career, Stephanie spent many years serving Milwaukee Public Schools as a passionate educator and leader, holding roles that ranged from classroom teacher to school administrator and Director of School Turnaround. Across each position, she focused on equity, student achievement, and systemic improvement. Stephanie holds a PhD in Leadership, Learning, Service, and Research from Cardinal Stritch University and remains deeply committed to advancing educational opportunity for Milwaukee’s young people.
