Mikaely T. Schmitz, EdD, CCC-SLP

Mikaely Schmitz is an Associate Professor and Clinical Instructor at Concordia University Wisconsin in the School of Health Professions. Her teaching and scholarship focus on experiential learning, student engagement, and interdisciplinary approaches to professional education. Her research examines how educational tools and interventions are implemented in authentic learning contexts, with particular attention to student perceptions, usability, and professional skill development. She is especially interested in pragmatic, mixed-methods designs that evaluate how supports and opportunities for growth are taken up, experienced, and sustained by students.
