Alverno Forum Will Explore How to Empower Women in Technology

It has long been known that there is a need for more women in technology fields. Not only is there a significant gender gap, but women face a number of obstacles to success including gender bias in the workplace. Alverno College is hosting a forum that will explore the barriers that exist for women in tech and discuss ways to knock them down. Each of the experts on our panel work in information technology and can offer their insight. Whether you're starting your career or are a veteran, we invite you to join us for an evening of conversation about how to empower women to succeed.

The Alverno Forum series seeks to join community leaders in discussing cutting-edge topics that have a daily impact on the lives of people in our community and beyond. The next discussion in this year's series takes place on Thursday, December 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Bucyrus Conference Center inside the Sister Joel Read Center.
