Lisa Cathelyn Named Campus Minister at Alverno College

Lisa Cathelyn has been hired as the campus minster at Alverno College. She will begin her new role on July 1. As campus minster, she will nourish the spiritual needs of Alverno College students, foster a vibrant liturgical life, and nurture a program of religious and spiritual outreach to the college community. She will also promote an understanding of the mission and philosophy of the School Sisters of St. Francis while demonstrating a commitment to inclusive practices for all faith traditions.

Cathelyn has experience in pastoral ministries including liturgy preparation, Bible studies, spiritual direction and immersion planning.

She graduated from Marquette University with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language & Literature, with minors in Theology and Women's/Gender Studies. She is currently working to finish her Master of Divinity at the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University in Berkeley, Calif.
