Alverno College has a number of wellness partners to help you succeed and be well. Click on the links below to find out what our wellness partners can offer you.
Jewish Community Center (JCC)
The Jewish Community Center offers programs and activities to promote wellness for you and your family. Find out more about the JCC Summer 2014 Promotion and get started on your best summer ever! You must show your Alverno ID at the time of membership sign-up.

What is health coaching?
- Assists faculty, students or staff in choosing, obtaining and keeping wellness and healthy lifestyle related goals.
- Helps individuals to find their own solutions by asking questions that give them insight into their wellness status.
- Assists in identifying steps to take to achieve a health and wellness related goal.
- Provides structure and support to promote personal progress and accountability.
The Park People
Oak Leaf Discovery Tour Passports are available in HR (LA 309) for employees who want to explore the Milwaukee County Parks and trail systems. The 2014 Oak Leaf Discovery Tour runs from May 1st through October 6th.
Alverno College has partnered with the Pettit Center, located at 500 South 84th Street in Milwaukee, to offer Alverno employees discounted admissions for the run/walk track and public skating. Enjoy using this unique facility for a healthy and different exercise activity at a discounted price. Simply show your employee ID to receive the discount at the time of use. The Pettit Center also offers group fitness and wellness classes free of charge.
Alverno College Adult and Continuing Education
Wisconsin Athletic Club (WAC)
The Wisconsin Athletic Club offers a variety of ways to improve your wellness including group fitness classes (Spinning, Yoga, Pilates and water classes) and racquetball. Get support for your fitness goals with a personal trainer. Relax and relieve stress with a massage. The WAC offers a Junior Membership to Alverno employees and students who are under the age of 29.
Membership is valid at all Wisconsin Athletic Club locations. You must show your Alverno ID at the time of membership sign-up.
