Welcome to Alverno College!

Every day at Alverno, our students experience milestones that move them closer to their goals and dreams. We are so glad that you will soon be here making remarkable strides of your own as part of our community of strong women.

Check out the orientation dates below to sign up for the event that applies to you.

Undergraduate Weekday Students

On your registration and orientation day, you'll get the lay of the land with a campus tour, register for your spring classes, ask all your questions in an interactive session with current students, and learn more about Financial Aid.

Sign up for the following:

After you complete your Orientation & Registration, you will start your Spring classes with a 1 day class called Introduction to Liberal Arts (ILA). Attendance is required in order to remain enrolled for the semester. Please plan on arriving for check-in on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.

Parent and Family Orientation

At Alverno, we know you're not in this alone. We encourage you to invite your cheerleaders to your first day of class for an orientation of their own. Parents, significant others and other adults* who support your transition to Alverno are invited to this event.

Student Supporters: You will have the opportunity to take a tour of classrooms and important spaces on campus, get answers to frequently asked questions about Financial Aid, hear about leadership and career planning connections at Alverno, and get acquainted with Alverno's unique ability-based curriculum.

Your orientation will happen on your student's first day of classes on January 25, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Your orientation will conclude with an optional New Student Convocation Ceremony at 3:00 p.m. and a Welcome Reception at 4:00 p.m. You'll receive additional information in the mail once your student has been registered for their Introduction of Liberal Arts (ILA) course.

*Due to limited space, please make arrangements for your youngest supporters to be cared for off campus during all of these activities.
