CAMPUS JOB FAIR

Learn about job opportunities on campus, talk to staff from hiring departments (a great way to stand out as an applicant), and get assistance with completing the online employment application, as well as resume and cover letter writing.

CAREER CONNECTIONS FAIR

The #1 way to find a job or internship is through networking. Whether you’re looking for a position now, or will be down the road, take advantage of the opportunity to talk to area employers and explore career and internship options. Feeling nervous? Come early (11:30am-12pm) for a guided VIP tour with a staff member. Note: Business attire and resume not required (but recommended for active job or internship seekers).

BUILDING YOUR RESUME

Learn how to gain career-related experience in college and “build” a resume, as early as freshmen year. Resume not required… but you may leave with the outline for one!

INTERN SHOWCASE

All Weekday students at Alverno College are required to complete an internship for credit; have you started thinking about where you might do yours? Learn about potential internship sites at the end-of-semester Intern Showcase. Alverno students who interned this semester will be on hand to tell you about their internship experiences, including how they found the position, the organizations with which they worked, and the projects they took on. Open to all students.
