COVID-19 Information

Alverno College continues to monitor and be responsive to any local or national health alert.  In May 2023, the National Declaration of Emergency and the World Health Organization Declaration of Emergency related to COVID-19 ended.  As a result, Alverno has:

  • Discontinued requiring students and faculty/staff to report positive cases and systems
  • Disconintued requiring its quarantine protocols, including providing isolation locations for positive COVID-19 cases and managing contact tracing
  • Discontinued requiring students and faculty/staff to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Continued mitigating strategies to keep the the virus from spreading on campus. Alverno remains a mask friendly campus and encourates the campus community to follow all current CDC guidelines.

STUDENTS: If you are sick and need additional resources from instructors/supervisors, or need to miss class due to COVID-19 or other illness, we encourage you to communicate with your faculty and/or on-campus supervisor and work to find a safe solution.

EMPLOYEES: If out with COVID-19, Alverno employees should report it as sick time in ADP as with any other illness.
