In addition to enforcing Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, the Department of Campus Safety is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Student Handbook, Residence Life Handbook, and the Alverno and You Employee Handbook. The department does this in conjunction with Student Affairs, Residence Life and Human Resources departments. Campus Safety conducts initial investigations of violations and conducts follow up investigations as necessary. Violations are adjudicated by the appropriate departments.
