Studied abroad in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong in Spring of 2014.
“It's like I have been waiting my whole life for this moment. I've always been a dreamer and always knew that I wanted to explore the world, see the differences and find joy in them. I was determined to make it to Hong Kong no matter what, and taking loans out has already been worth it, even though I've only been here a month.
I have never felt so at home as I do in Hong Kong. The friends I've made before have been so incredibly generous and have taken care of me so well. It's just proof that if you do your best to help others and selflessly try to provide them with a great experience, when you visit them you will reap the benefits ten-fold. I never want to leave, and I might have to move back when I am done at Alverno” – Marita Peterson

Studied in Leeds, England in Spring of 2014
"I've had an amazing time here in England. I've been able to do a lot of traveling and the people at Leeds Trinity University are so friendly that I felt at home within the first week of being here. It's been a great experience to be the first Alverno College student to go to this particular university exchange partner and I hope that many more Alverno women will consider going to Leeds Trinity too. I'm really going to miss this place."

Studied abroad in London, England in Spring of 2014
“Study abroad has opened my eyes up not only to the world around me but also my values and interests as a person. It is an experience like none other. You can't even imagine it until you are here. Just realizing that I was actually standing in London - something I had dreamed about doing for years - made me believe that anything is possible. As they all say, live while you are young!”-

“The places we go, the people we meet, and the interests we develop are all things that can create some common ground between us and help us relate to one another. They build bridges and we begin to see each other as fellow humans as opposed to nations.”- Amelia Schuyler
