BIOGRAPHY
Sharyn Warren is an assistant professor in the Business Division of the School of Professional Studies at Alverno College where she has taught since 2012. She teaches several different classes including introduction to business and management, project management – IT, business process control and governance, spreadsheet design and analysis, and the advanced internship seminar.
Warren has over 20 years of leadership experience working in the corporate world, and her experience includes supervising staff, preparing budgets, developing and implementing long range plans and orientation programs, coordinating seminars, and human resources. She also has over 15 years of experience in classroom, online and hybrid instruction.
Warren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management/Communication from Concordia University - Mequon. She earned her Master of Science in Management from the University of Maryland University College in Adelphi, Md., and her Ed.S. in Higher Education and Adult Learning from Walden University in Baltimore. She is currently working on her dissertation in the Doctor in Education Leadership program at Alverno College, and her research is focused on first generation minority students and how their first year experience impacts their second year retention and student success.
