Congratulations on your admission to Alverno College! You can secure your seat in our spring 2021 or fall 2021 class by paying your $100 enrollment deposit.
If you haven't done so already, file the FAFSA. (Both the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 applications are available at studentaid.gov). We recommend that all students complete the application regardless of whether or not you intend to take out loans. The information you provide determines your federal aid eligibility, and it also helps us to determine your eligibility for aid from Alverno. The Alverno aid is need-based and is separate from the merit-based scholarships.
You can expect to receive your financial aid offer within two weeks of completing your FAFSA. After you receive your offer, please schedule a meeting with a financial aid counselor by calling 414-382-6262 or emailing email@example.com. All appointments will be done by phone or virtually.
As an incoming Alverno student, you are required to meet with a Financial Aid representative before you begin your first classes.
All meetings are held via phone or Zoom. Schedule your meeting by contacting Financial Aid at 414-382-6262 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you receive your financial aid offer from us, we want to make sure that you and your family understand it and your financial responsibilities. Here are the basics about your meeting:
Activate your Alverno Network Account. Your username and temporary password was attached to the Next Steps booklet with your acceptance packet. Visit alverno.edu/passwordreset to enroll into the system and to reset your password. This username and password gives you access to your email, our housing application system and other campus resources. (If you paid your deposit at iol.alverno.edu, you likely already did this step!)
Access your Alverno Email. Your email account is through Office 365. Visit student.alverno.edu and enter your Alverno email address, which was included in your Next Steps booklet with your acceptance packet. You will begin receiving important information to this email.
Fall 2021 Orientation information is coming.
For Spring 2021: We invite you to register for a virtual orientation event. This one-hour session is designed to help acclimate you to our technology resources as well as student life on campus.
Choose an orientation date/time that works best with your schedule:
Your Academic Advisor will reach out to you individually to help you register for your spring 2021 classes.
An official, final transcript that includes your high school graduation date must be submitted to the Admissions office in a sealed envelope from your high school or sent through an electronic provider. Transfer students should submit transcripts from every college attended.
As a new student, we encourage you to live on campus. To apply, log into the Housing Application at alverno.edu/reslife. (The Spring 2021 application is available now; Fall 2020 application will be available in January 2021).
Using your username and password for your Alverno account, complete the 10-step application process, which does include a $100 housing deposit. If you have any questions, call Residence Life at 414-382-6314 or email email@example.com.
