Commit to Alverno

Congratulations on your admission to Alverno College! You can secure your seat in our incoming Fall 2021 class by paying your $100 enrollment deposit

Your Next Steps

Current High School Students

As an incoming Alverno student, you are required to meet with a Financial Aid representative before you begin your first classes. We encourage you to do it before you attend orientation.

All meetings are held via phone or Zoom. Schedule your meeting today: alverno.edu/Financial-Aid-New-Students

Once you receive your financial aid offer from us, we want to make sure that you and your family understand it and your financial responsibilities. Here are the basics about your meeting:

  • At least one parent or guardian should plan to be on the phone with you, if possible.
  • Please complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before the appointment.
  • Have your financial aid offer from us with you.

Activate your Alverno Network Account. Your username and temporary password was attached to the Next Steps booklet with your acceptance packet. Visit alverno.edu/passwordreset to enroll into the system and to reset your password. This username and password gives you access to your email, our housing application system and other campus resources. (If you paid your deposit at iol.alverno.edu, you likely already did this step!)

Access your Alverno Email. Your email account is through Office 365. Visit student.alverno.edu and enter your Alverno email address, which was included in your Next Steps booklet with your acceptance packet. You will begin receiving important information to this email.

For Fall 2021: More information and registration is available at alverno.edu/soar

If you haven't done so already, file the 2021-2022 FAFSA at studentaid.gov. We recommend that all students complete the application regardless of whether or not you intend to take out loans. The information you provide determines your federal aid eligibility, and it also helps us to determine your eligibility for aid from Alverno. The Alverno aid is need-based and is separate from the merit-based scholarships.

You can expect to receive your financial aid offer within two weeks of completing your FAFSA. After you receive your offer, please schedule a meeting with a financial aid counselor by calling 414-382-6262 or emailing financial.aid@alverno.edu. All appointments will be done by phone or virtually.

An official, final transcript that includes your high school graduation date must be submitted to the Admissions office in a sealed envelope from your high school or sent through an electronic provider. Transfer students should submit transcripts from every college attended.

Get a jump start on your math requirements this summer by taking a Quantitative Literacy course. Contact your admissions counselor to discuss whether this is a good fit for you. To register: Summer QL Course
