I’ve been with Alverno College since 2007 and love the supportive environment. My favorite spot on campus is looking out through the wall of windows on the second floor of the Sister Joel Read Center. No matter the weather, the view is nothing short of amazing.
As the director of admissions, I am happy to speak with anyone interested in learning more about the programs we offer; however, I specialize in working with nurses who are interested in pursuing their master's degree.

I am Katie Kipp and I have been working in the admissions office at various colleges since 2010, but have been in the admissions office at Alverno College since 2016.
As the assistant director for the graduate, adult and transfer admissions team, I lead a dynamic group of admissions counselors who help prospective students learn more about our graduate, adult and weekday transfer options at Alverno. I focus specifically on prospective students interested in transferring to Alverno College in our weekday undergraduate program as well as prospective students who are interested in our graduate programs.
Alverno College is a very special place and my favorite part about working here is helping new students experience how wonderful and welcoming our college can be!

I joined the Alverno team as an employee in 2019 but am a former student, class of 2009, business and management program. Proud Alum!
At Alverno, the empowerment around becoming your full, true self via a quality education is truly one of my favorite things.
I service the college through a variety of roles. My main duties include serving as the assistant director of Admissions, High School Recruitment which allows me to interface with our community school partners and lead a team that makes these connections for new students to join the college community. In addition, I serve as a co-director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, where I support efforts around our beloved community. I am also an adjunct faculty member, teaching coursework in HR.

I joined the Alverno Admissions team in August of 2022. I am also a proud 2019 Alverno alumna. Something that I love about Alverno is its commitment to support and inclusiveness, which has created an environment that uplifts and encourages growth for all its students.
I work with students interested in our graduate education and licensure programs. I also work with students interested in our paraprofessional to teacher licensure program.

I have been at Alverno since September of 2021. My favorite things about Alverno are the diversity of the student body and that it’s an all-women’s college. I believe the college has the potential to be the best in Wisconsin.
My focus within the college and scholarly interests are in Hispanic-Serving Institution initiatives, multicultural recruitment, supporting undocumented/DACAmented students and community engagement and outreach with inner-city high schools and community-based organizations in Milwaukee.

I have been at Alverno for a year but spent four and a half years here as a student earning my bachelor's degree.
My favorite thing about Alverno is the campus community and how welcoming it is.
I work with new high school, athlete, and international applicants.

I joined the Alverno College Admissions team as the Graduate, Adult and Transfer Admissions Counselor in October 2023. I am also a proud Alverno Alumna apart of the graduating class of 2017.
I love Alverno’s dedication to authentic diversity and the overall commitment to the success of their students both personally and academically.
In addition to supporting paraprofessional students who are looking to obtain licensure, I also work with adult learners looking to pursue graduate education and traditional teaching licensure.
