Windows to Heaven: The Mystical World of Icons

Saturday, April 18

The choices we make become the story of our lives, yet we seldom stop to ask the questions that shape the stories and discern whether God is in them. The word “discernment” has its roots in Greek meaning “to sift through” or “to sort out.” What a great time to stop and “sort out” the stories of your life in reference to God’s will. When the great spiritual writer, John English, was asked, “How do you know if it’s God’s will or your own?” his answer was, “What’s the difference?”
