THE AROMAS OF SUMMER WINES
Tuesday, July 10

In this workshop you will discover one of the many important aspects of wine tasting—the Aromas. Uncover the many scents associated with summer wines and how they correlate within different varieties, as well as how to appreciate the many different layers in wine.  We will explore scents such as herbs, bread, leather, smoke and fruit and match them up to the different varieties of wine.  You will not only have a basic understanding of wine tasting, but a much deeper appreciation of it through scent.  This is a wonderful class for both the wine enthusiast and the aromatherapy student, as well.

COMFORTABLE ARMS AND SHOULDERS
2 Thursdays, June 21 - 28

We use our head, neck, shoulders and arms constantly throughout the day for work, and tend to create habits and repetitive motions that eventually result in undue fatigue and even pain.  In this workshop, we will practice several carefully constructed movement lessons which follow what we know about how the brain organizes both movement and learning. We will expand our awareness of how we use our thorax, ribs, arms and shoulders—leaving us free to move as we like.  The pace is slow and enjoyable, allowing people of all ability levels to participate. The benefits include a long subtle neck, comfortable shoulders and arms that perform what is required with greater ease.

Instructor: Laura Sebastian, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and Cranio Sacral Practitioner

DEVELOPING INTUITION
2 Tuesdays, August 14 – 21

Most people have recognized a twinge of intuition at some point in their lives.  Tuning in to your own intuition is easy once you know how.  As these messages are often subtle and quiet, you will learn how to create a calm inner space to better receive them as well as other helpful tools to connect with your intuition.  Whether you have to make an important decision or trust the “feeling” to do—or not to do—something, developing your intuitive skills will be empowering as well as a useful, practical tool.

FORGIVING YOURSELF AND OTHERS
Monday, June 18

Why is it so hard to forgive others—and often even harder to forgive yourself? Take some time to explore the topic of forgiveness as we ask: does forgiveness really mean forgetting? Do forgiveness and reconciliation always go hand in hand? What happens when we don’t forgive those who have wronged us?  If you’ve ever struggled with the issue of forgiveness, this session will inspire and comfort you.

WHAT ARE YOU TOLERATING?
2 Tuesdays, June 19 – 26

We have become masters at learning to tolerate situations, unfinished business, others' behaviors, frustrations and even some of our own behaviors to the detriment of our own health and happiness. In this two part class, we will learn to identify what these situations are, come to understand how much of an energy leak they cause and learn how to create new and appropriate attitudes, behaviors and boundaries. This will insure us more freedom and creativity with our own time and energy. We will learn to identify our authentic values and then how to live from that space of integrity and satisfaction.
