Classroom Computer Technology

All classrooms on campus are wired for access to the campus network and the Internet. In addition, there are many wireless zones.

There are a variety of technology classrooms:

• Smart classrooms – contain an instructor’s station with a computer, built-in projection, document camera and DVD/VCR

• Interactive white board rooms – contain an interactive white board along with an instructor’s station with a computer, document camera and DVD/VCR

• Computer classrooms – contain computers for student use, along with an instructor’s station and built-in projection

A computer cart with a laptop and a projector can be requested by instructors for use in any classroom.

When multiple computers are needed in a standard classroom, instructors can request one of two wireless laptop carts or an iPad cart.

In addition to technology in classrooms, the Wehr Hall auditorium, the Conference Center, Kellogg A and other meeting rooms have permanent computer/video projection systems.
