Media Hub Equipment

Students, staff and faculty are financially responsible for any loss of or damage to the equipment while it is in your possession.

Equipment is checked out on a first-come basis and equipment availability information and renewals are not given over the phone.

 

Who can check out equipment?

  • Students, faculty and staff may borrow equipment from the Media Hub

FAQ's for STUDENTS

What is needed to check out equipment?

  • You will need to provide your Alverno College ID or Drivers License

How long can equipment be checked out for?

  • 72 Hours (3 Days)
  • You will receive a receipt will the due date and time when you check out the equipment
  • Items may not be immediately renewed.

Is there a Late Fee?

  • Yes, there is a $1 per hour late fee (including the hours we are closed)
  • Students will not be able to check out equipment if they have a late fee

What equipment is available for student check out?

FAQ's for FACULTY & STAFF

How can faculty and staff request equipment?

  • Faculty and staff can reserve and request equipment from the Media Hub for classroom use by filling out the Equipment Request form.
  • The Equipment Request form is available in the Mail Room or at the front desk of the Media Hub
  • Completed Forms can be returned to the Media Hub or left in Kathy Sielaff’s Mail Drawer
  • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice when placing an order. Orders placed with less than 24 hours’ notice may be unable to be filled.
