There are hundreds of ways to get involved at Alverno in order to make the most of your college experience. Attend events, join a student organization, or help shape campus life through Student Government – the possibilities are endless!
The Department of Student Life includes an energetic student staff, the PAGE Board, who takes on leadership for Programming Activities and Great Events. Some PAGE events include:
- Tuesday & Wednesday Night Mug Series (bands, hypnotists, comedians, etc.)
- Rotunda Ball, a semi-formal dance
- BOO! Bash, a children’s Halloween party
- Community Day, a day of service
- Homecoming Spirit Week
- and much, much more!

PAGE Board hosted the 9th Annual Rotunda Ball on Saturday, December 1st. Despite a snow storm, over 100 students and guests attended this special tradition. View Photos!
 Boo! Bash
On Saturday, October 28, 2007 Student Life hosted their annual Boo! Bash event. Three hundred people attended and 180 little ghosts, witches, and super heroes decorated cookies and cupcakes, had fun pumpkin bowling and apple painting, pinned the nose on the pumpkin, played bingo, painted with apples, played with giant bubbles, and enjoyed the haunted maze.
A special thanks to Student Life, the PAGE Board and the twelve Student Organizations who helped to organize this event.

Community Day, April 16, 2008
Community Day 2008 was a day in which students, faculty and staff stepped back from their busy schedules to assist those in need. Over 400 volunteers participated in this year’s environmentally themed event. Service sites included the Urban Ecology Center, Wehr Nature Center, Jackson Park, St. Clare Terrace, the Guest House, and Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. Participants also cleaned up Alverno’s Adopt-a-Highway stretch and adopted a beach! Save the date for next year’s Community Day – Wednesday, April 15th!
