How do I change the name on my diploma? |
| A. | Contact the Registrar's Office at 414-382-6370. |
| Q. | What if my gown does not fit? |
| A. | Bring the gown to Student Services for an exchange asap. |
| Q. | Where do I get a hood? |
| A. | You will receive your hood on stage the day of commencement. |
| Q. | How many tickets do graduates receive? |
| A. | Graduates receive 3 tickets to Pitman Theatre and 4 tickets to one of 3 simulcast locations. |
| Q. | Can brunch and ceremony tickets be mailed to my home? |
| A. | No, all tickets must either be picked up at the Grad Finale event or in Student Services. |
| Q. | How do graduates obtain their academic attire and how much does it cost? |
| A. | Graduates must first complete the Cap & Gown order form and return it to Student Services before the deadline specified on the form. All apparel can then be picked up at the Grad Finale event. The cost for academic attire is included in the grad fee. |
| Q. | Where can I purchase graduation announcements? |
| A. | Student Services sells a limited number of generic announcements for $10 per pack of 10. Personalized announcements may be ordered directly through Jostens. |
| Q. | How can I order a class ring? |
| A. | Class rings may be ordered directly through Jostens online or at the Grad Finale event. |
| Q. | How do you know what color your tassel will be, or if you have the right one? |
| A. | The tassel and velvet at the throat of the hood, by its color, designates the specific degree awarded at Alverno College. |

| Q. | Can I purchase an extra tassel? |
| A. | Yes, extra tassels may be purchased at Commencement rehearsal or on the day of Commencement for $5. |
| Q. | How long does the ceremony last? |
| A. | The ceremony will last approximately 2 hours. |
| Q. | Do I have to stay the entire time at Grad Finale? |
| A. | Graduates only need to attend one of the Grad Finale sessions any time between the hours listed. |
| Q. | What is the President's Dinner and do I have to attend? |
| A. | The President's Dinner honors and recognizes the achievements and accomplishments of all graduates. This reception concludes rehearsal activities on Friday. |
| Q. | Do children need a ticket to enter Pitman Theatre? |
| A. | Yes, children over the age of two are required to have a ticket to enter the theatre. |
