Student Staff
Student staff is comprised of ten community advisors who are selected through an intensive application process and are responsible for facilitating wing communities in the residence halls. This team of energetic students works with the Assistant Director of Residence Life to promote a fun and positive living experience. Some of the responsibilities include educational and social programming, floor activities, peer advisement, assisting in the general management of the hall, attending weekly staff meetings, one-on-one meetings, and in-service training. The student staff serves as role models for residents and are able to explain community standards, housing and college policies and regulations. They are friendly resources who are accepting of others and appreciative of differences in beliefs, culture, and lifestyle.
