Our Mission
The Alverno College Research Center for Women and Girls generates and applies scholarly research, develops curricula, and conducts program evaluation and outreach for the purpose of supporting, transforming and inspiring initiatives to improve the lives of women and girls in the state of Wisconsin and beyond.
Our Goals
• Raise awareness of social, educational, workplace and public policy
issues affecting women and girls;
• Identify research-based strategies and solutions to address select problems;
• Provide reliable research results to educators, community organizations,
the private sector and government officials to support preexisting initiatives;
• Inspire educators, community organizations, the private sector and
government officials to establish new programs and initiatives to positively
impact the lives of women and girls.
