Jessica Brumm-Larson, Ph.D.
Jessica Brumm-Larson is an assistant professor of psychology at Alverno College, and also serves as the internship coordinator for the Master of Science in Community Psychology program. Dr. Brumm-Larson received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Educational Psychology. She is a licensed professional counselor and nationally certified school psychologist.
Dr. Brumm-Larson has teaching and research interests in life span development, multicultural issues, academic achievement and counseling skills. For the past two years, she has been involved with planning the African American (2012) and Latino (2013) Mental Health Summits at Alverno College and appreciates bringing together community practitioners, graduate students, clergy and government officials to examine mental health issues from a community psychology approach.
