Second Careers in Teaching
Whether you’re considering a change to teaching or wish to
renew or extend your teaching license, Alverno has a variety of
programs to fit your needs.
Licensure to Master's
Building upon the core knowledge gained from an undergraduate
degree program in one of four broad areas (English language arts,
mathematics, science, or social studies), candidates in Alverno’s
Licensure to Master’s Specialization are provided with a practical,
hands-on approach to a new career in middle/secondary teaching.
