One of the most business-friendly countries in South America, the Republic of Paraguay is economically and environmentally prepared for the expansion of foreign ventures in an effort to foster long-term growth. With so many investment and expansion opportunities, the 2014 Paraguay Economic Forum will offer ways to build professional, educational, cultural and technical relationships between the Wisconsin business community and Paraguayan government officials.
On Thursday, forum attendees will develop a deeper understanding of Paraguay’s natural resources, cultural influences, as well as import / export similarities and opportunities within the Midwest region. During the panel sessions and at a networking event, participants will also explore potential business partnerships with Paraguayan officials. The forum features expert panel sessions, presented by key Paraguayan government officials and faculty from the University of the East; alongside Alverno MBA students on topics they have studied in depth, including: The new Paraguayan Government and Economics, Agricultural, Natural Resource as well as Road and Infrastructure Opportunities and the need for sustainable partnerships with Wisconsin companies.
