About Licensure Programs
- Post-baccalaureate
Teacher Education Program: This program is designed
for college graduates seeking teaching licensure and
for teachers who want to upgrade their skills, renew
their licensure or extend it to new areas.
- Licensure
to Master's Program: For women and men who already
have their bachelor's degree and seek middle/secondary
licensure, Alverno offers a graduate-level teacher-education
program through which one may earn both licensure
and a master's degree within two years.
- Urban Education
Fellows Program: This program is open to women
and men who want to earn their initial licensure for
elementary/middle school at the graduate level while
teaching in independent, private, parochial or charter
schools in the Milwaukee area.
