Pitman Theatre
Seating Capacity – 930
Built in 1953, Pitman Theatre is a traditional
proscenium theater with fly space. The proscenium opening is 40’
wide by 21’ high. When fully masked the playing space is about
36’ wide by 24’ deep. The stage floor is sprung maple
painted black. The theatre also has an orchestra pit that extends
beyond the Apron 8’ and is typically covered, although the pit
cover can be removed. The seating capacity is 930 - 714 on the main
floor and 216 in the balcony. The main floor is handicapped accessible;
the balcony is not. The theatre possesses up-to-date lighting and
sound equipment. Dance performances, music concerts and theatrical
events are well served by the space. Please note that Pitman Theatre
is not air conditioned.

Wehr Hall
Seating Capacity – 360
Wehr Hall is a proscenium theatre
with no fly space. The proscenium opening is 40’ wide by 8’
high. When fully masked the playing area is 35’ wide by 16’
deep. The front of the stage has six steps, spanning the width of
the proscenium. The seating capacity is 360. The theatre possesses
current lighting and sound equipment. Intimate music concerts, theatre
productions and small dance recitals are well served by Wehr Hall.
Wehr Hall is also equipped with projection equipment that is linked
to a computer, document camera and VCR, and the space works very
well for lectures, presentations or meetings.

Alphonsa Hall
Seating capacity – 175
Alphonsa Hall is a recital hall.
The stage is 27’ wide by 20’ 6” deep. There are
two Steinway B Pianos on stage. The seating capacity is 175. Music
recitals and especially piano recitals are well served by Alphonsa
Hall.
