Transcripts & Narratives

Transcripts may be requested by filling out a transcript request form located in the Registrar's Office.  There is a $5.00 fee per transcript (payable at time of request).  Standard service for transcripts take 24-48 hours to process.  Rush transcripts will be processed in an hour with a $10 fee per transcript.

Transcripts may also be requested in writing.  Include the following:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Social Security Number
  • Dates attended Alverno
  • Last name while attending Alverno
  • Signature
  • Complete address where transcripts should be mailed
  • Transcript fee (make check payable to Alverno College)

Narratives

As part of your transcript you also receive a narrative, which is an evaluation of your overall academic achievement and faculty's judgment.  The narratives can take up to six months to receive.  You will receive an unofficial copy of your transcript and narrative once the narrative statement is completed.  Please specify the following when requesting transcripts and narratives:

  • Transcripts should be mailed immediately upon request with the narrative to follow OR
  • Transcripts should be held until the narrative is received OR
  • The narrative is not needed and transcripts should be sent

If the transcripts are sent with the narrative to follow or are held for the narrative, a priority rush will be put on the narrative.  Please note it may take a month or more to receive. 

The graduation date does not appear on transcripts unit the Monday following graduation.
