- September 17, 2013- Student Speaker Information Session, 5:30pm, Alum Hall. Learn about auditioning for the role of Student Speaker and Coordinator of Ceremony.
- December 4, 2013 - Grad Finale, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Sister Joel Read Center. Attend one session. Sessions begin every ½ hour. The last session begins at 4:30pm. Plan to spend an hour total at this event. This event is required for all graduates participating in the December commencement ceremony. Graduates not in attendance will be charged a $25 fee. If you cannot attend, contact Student Affairs, 414-382-6115.
- November 1, 2013 - Last day to request an additional Pitman Ticket. Requests are not guaranteed.
- November 1, 2013 - Last day to request Handicap Ceremony Tickets.

- December 11, 2013 - Last day to purchase tickets for the Undergraduate Commencement Brunch.

Cap & Gown
All graduates should order and pay for their cap and gown before November 2. Orders placed after November 2 will incur a $25 late fee.

Caps, gowns, and tassels will be available for pick up at Grad Finale. The hood will be received on the day of Commencement. Try on your gown at Grad Finale.
Catholic Mass is Saturday, December 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Celebrate and pray with family, friends, faculty, staff, and fellow graduates in gratitude for what has been and with hope for what will come. Participation from graduates is greatly desired and much appreciated. Many opportunities are available. To participate, contact the Campus Minister at 414-382-6352. Graduates can attend the mass and the brunch afterwards.
The Undergraduate Ceremony takes place in Pitman Theatre. Each graduate will receive 3 tickets to Pitman Theatre. Seating is assigned. Graduates do not need a ticket for themselves.
Graduates should pick up their tickets in person at Grad Finale. Tickets cannot be mailed or picked up by anyone other than the graduate. Lost tickets will not be replaced.
Each graduate will also receive 5 tickets to a satellite theater. The Sister Joel Read Conference Center, Wehr Hall, and Lampe Hall are satellite theaters. Guests in these theaters view the commencement ceremony on large screens.
All guests need a ticket to enter the theaters. Children must also have a ticket if they will be sitting in a seat.
Disruptive guests will be escorted out of the theatre. Guests with a ticket to Pitman Theatre arriving after the ceremony has begun will be routed to a satellite theater.
Handicap seating in Pitman Theatre is limited. Contact the Office of Student Affairs at 414-382-6118 to reserve tickets. Tickets must be requested before November 2, 2013.
All guests are required to have a ticket to enter Pitman Theatre. Guests in wheelchairs should enter the Pitman Theatre internal north door entrance between 12:45pm and 1:00pm. Guests arriving after the ceremony has begun will be routed to another theater.
An all-you-can-eat brunch is available for graduates and guests on graduation day. Graduates receive a complimentary ticket. Tickets may be purchased in Student Affairs, AF 205, or at the Grad Finale event. Tickets will not be available after May 14 or on the day of graduation. Cash or check only. Please make checks payable to Alverno College.

The brunch menu includes egg casseroles, cheesy hash browns, french toast sticks, broccoli and cauliflower salad, pasta salad, fresh fruit, assorted danish, doughnuts, bagels and beverages.

It is an Alverno tradition to have alumnae relatives of the current graduating class participate as marshals in the commencement ceremony, leading the students, faculty and staff, and trustees in and out of Pitman Theatre. Note: Your relative must have graduated from Alverno College.
