Student Activities & Leadership
At Alverno you have many opportunities to engage and be active in campus life. The Department of Student Activities & Leadership wants you to Live BIG and Get Involved! Get the full college experience by participating in a variety of fun campus events.
Funday Monday and Main Stage Series: Every Monday over the lunch hour Student Activities will be sponsoring fun, interactive events or performers in the La Verna Commons lobby and stage areas. Then every Wednesday night at 6:30pm the Main Stage Series will feature comedians, bands, and novelty acts in on the La Verna Commons Stage. The majority of events are FREE and open to students and their friends and family. Check out the Fall 2017 Entertainment Guide
Campus Traditions: Show your school spirit at Homecoming or volunteer in the community on our annual day of service. Other campus traditions include BOO! Bash, a family Halloween party; An Alverno Thanksgiving Dinner and Late Night Breakfast.
Community Service: Alverno is committed to civic engagement and giving back to local and global communities. Participate in the St. Ben's Meal program sponsored through Campus Ministry, the Alternative Spring Break trip volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, or sign up for Community Day and give service to one of 30 different social service agencies.
