Healing the Heart of Democracy Circles
Share in the continuing conversations around each of Parker Palmer's Five Habits. In our effort to continue to build on the theme of his book and the keynote speech Mr. Palmer gave at Alverno's Community Conference, The Civility Project is using the study circle guides prepared by the Wisconsin Council of Churches in their effort to promote a "Season of Civility" to lead discussion on campus. The study circles promote healthy and thought provoking conversations amidst our different points of view. See the 5 Habits Brochure for more details. It is highly recommended that you attend all sessions as each workshop is a continuation of the previous. However, if you are unable to attend all of the dates, you are still invited to register.

Dr. Parker Palmer's book, Healing the Heart of Democracy: The Courage to Create a Politics Worthy of the Human Spirit (Jossey-Bass 2011) outlines the 5 Habits of the Heart which will be discussed in the Workshop Series.
