Goetz hit two home runs, including a first inning grand slam, leading the Inferno to 6-4 win over Concordia (WI). The win earned Alverno a split in the doubleheader, played at Alverno due to poor conditions on the Concordia diamond. Goetz accounted for all six of Alverno's runs when she followed up her grand slam with a two-run blast in her next at-bat in the third inning. That bomb scored Lea Colon (Sr., Antioch, IL / Kenosha Bradford) and gave the Inferno a 6-1 lead. And in case anyone had forgotten, Goetz can pitch a little too. The sophomore went the distance, earning the win while striking out nine.
