
2007 will be Angela Zuñiga-Meyer’s first season with the Inferno. “My expectations are high that the soccer program will flourish by integrating the unique learning opportunities at Alverno with the proper balance of technical and tactical training. I plan to create a program with a strong sense of tradition and consistency that will allow Alverno to maintain and recruit only the highest quality student athletes,” shared Zuñiga-Meyer.
Zuñiga-Meyer has worked with the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, Shorewood Region since 2003 as a Head Coach for Select Soccer and a Skills Clinic Instructor. Before getting her start in coaching, Zuñiga-Meyer played two seasons for the Milwaukee Brewers FC and competed for Whitefish Bay High School as well as Whitefish Bay Select Soccer. She holds a WYSA National Level D License, as well as WYSA State G and E Coaching Licenses and NSCAA State and Regional Goalkeeping Diplomas.
Zuñiga-Meyer graduated from the University of Wisconsin. She received her B.S. in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001.
