2007-2008 marks the first season for Head Coach Brad Duckworth. Before taking the position at Alverno, he served as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Prior to his work at UW-La Crosse, Duckworth spent four years as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at SUNY-New Paltz. While at New Paltz, he coached the team to the second longest win streak in school history and two post season bids.
From 2000-2002, Duckworth experienced success as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Western Wisconsin Technical College. There he coached the team to two undefeated seasons, two conference championships, and a third place finish in 2001 and 2002 in Region IV of the NJCAA. Duckworth got his start in coaching as a student-assistant at his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Duckworth received his B.S. in Sport Management and his M.S. in Sport Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. In addition to coaching basketball at Alverno, he is also the Director of Athletics.
