Inferno Fall to Warriors
Lisa Sorgi Joslyn Binkowski (1/08/08) -- Shooting just 21% from the floor, the Alverno College women's basketball team was unable to keep up with cross-town rival rival Wisconsin Lutheran on Tuesday night, falling to the Warriors, 80-32. Unable to mount an offensive attack, the Inferno (4-9, 0-7 NAC) found themselves down 33-9 at halftime. Shooting was not a problem for Wisconsin Lutheran (5-6, 4-0 NAC). The Warriors found the mark from long range shooting 46% (11-25) from 3-point land. Kristen Dillon led the Warrior barrage hitting 6-7 three-pointers. Lisa Sorgi (So., Milwaukee, WI / Greenfield High School) led Alverno with 9 points. Joslyn Binkowski (Jr., Greenfield, WI / Greenfield High School) added 8 points and 8 rebounds.
